Alicia Silverstone, Bear Blu and Christopher Jarecki made Coachella a family affair Saturday. The first-time parents took in the sights and sounds of the music festival, but remained cautious about protecting their son.

Making sure 11-month-old son Bear’s hearing wouldn’t be damaged by any loud music or revelers (check out the guy in the photo background!), Alica Silverstone and husband kept noise-canceling headphones on their little guy. The actress, who recently took heat for mouth-feeding her son, carried Bear on her hip part of the time, and then he rode in the sling Christopher Jarecki is seen wearing.

“I didn’t leave the house at all for six weeks after his birth,” the actress said previously of her early days as a mother. “I wanted to soak in every moment of his scrumptiousness.”
