Alyson Hannigan is spending the final days of her second pregnancy out and about with husband Alexis Denisof and daughter Satyana. The very pregnant star is pictured here at a Santa Monica park on May 3.

The How I Met Your Mother actress said previously she is planning a home birth for her second child. “Yes, that is the plan,” confirmed Alyson Hannigan. “Hopefully all will go well. And yes, we had lots of comments about it. And we had the doctor that scared us tremendously.”

Daughter Satyana, now 3, was also born at home. “There was definitely more concern the first time around. For me, that was just the perfect place,” the actress continued. “I am absolutely terrified of hospitals, so I think that the home is the best place for me to feel comfortable. I had a midwife, her assistant and a doula. It will be the same again this time.”

Of when baby two is expected to arrive Alyson Hannigan said only, “I’m due in the summer. We know [gender] but we haven’t announced it to the world, but Satyana might because she’ll tell anybody. But for now, we’re keeping that to ourselves.”
