Jolie graced the Academy Awards red carpet looking too skinny in her beautiful black dress with the high cut slit.
She seemed to show off the dress’ design by posing on the red carpet with her hip thrust and her leg sticking out, which seemed a bit overposed, but understandable. After all, she probably wanted to showcase that lovely element of the dress.
Things got a bit weird, however, when Angelina Jolie took to the Oscars stage and stuck her leg out again while presenting.
“The Descendants” co-writer Jim Rash, who plays Dean Pelton on “Community,” was quick to mock Jolie’s pose when he and his fellow writers, Nat Faxon and Alexander Payne, won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay.
Rash struck the Angelina Jolie right leg pose while Payne delivered the speech.
Rash explains: “Honestly, as soon as I saw her pose like that, I was like, ‘I’m going to do that.’ I knew Alexander was going to take the reins, so I was like, ‘How can I make a moment?’ — selfishly. I almost thought it was a little Dean Pelton, somehow. I was bringing it all together. Because I have stood like that [on Community].”
One of the best moments of a pretty dull Oscars ceremony, don’t you think?
