Bob Geldof can’t stand his own grandson’s name. The man, known for having a curious taste in monikers himself, isn’t holding back in the least about what he thinks of what daughter Peaches Geldof has dubbed her first child.

The newborn boy in the midst of all the Geldof drama is Astala Dylan Willow Cohen-Geldof, one-week-old son of Peaches Geldof and fiance Thomas Cohen. As it turns out his grandfather, rocker Bob Geldof, can’t stand his newly minted name.

The Sun reports the 60-year-old Boomtown Rats punk rocker said of Astala’s name, “Yuck! What’s he going to be called in school? Ass? Stella? It’s a girl’s name, let’s face it.”

Peaches, who picked out her son’s name along with fiance Thomas Cohen before his birth, explained previously, “We found Astala in a baby name book – quite an obscure one. This is going to be a very stylish baby. I wanted a Jewish name because my fiance is a Jew and the name is the male version of Esther.”

For the record, Peaches (whose middle name is Honeyblossom) has two sisters named Fifi Trixibelle and Little Pixie.
