Victoria Beckham created a stir when she took to Twitter to post a pic of a “Peter & the Wolf” book her daughter Harper had received from Bono.

Beckham tweeted: “Thanks Bono and Ali for Harper’s supercool Peter and the Wolf book!”

She included a link to donate to the Irish Hospice Foundation as well, causing their website to crash last night.

Bono provided the illustrations for the Peter & the Wolf collaboration by Gavin Friday and the Friday-Seezer Ensemble. It includes an enhanced CD and cloth bound book that Bono’s daughters helped dad to illustrate.

On their end, the Irish Hospice Foundation tweeted Victoria the following note: “We hope you and David enjoy reading it to Harper.”

Their website crashed from the high traffic sent their way from Beckham to find out more about the book.

Caroline Lynch of the Irish Hospice Foundation noted: “The site went down from the number of people who were trying to get on and make enquiries.” she said.

The book, released in 2003, has helped raise €993,006 for the hospice foundation.
