Helena Bonham Carter has a very personal secret from the Harry Potter set — or, at least she used to. Read all about how the actress wore diapers during her postpartum filming!

Helena Bonham Carter’s daughter Nell was just 12-weeks-old when the actress returned to work as character Bellatrix LeStrange. “I really couldn’t jump up and down and scream without losing most of my bodily liquid,” the star recently confessed to  tells Britain’s Style magazine. “They had these air dryers (on set), these huge things – that’s where I would dry myself off.”

To maintain sanitary conditions while filming Harry Potter, the mother of two with longtime partner Tim Burton took to wearing one of her daughter’s diapers.

“None of the men (knew I wore diapers),” she added. “They don’t know, you see. But all the girls were, like, ‘How can you?’ But, actually, I don’t think I was too embarrassed.”

“There’s something quite liberating about having a baby… I loved having a baby. I would have a baby every day if (I could). The birth day is fantastic. It is magic. It is complete magic.”
