Sunday was especially sweet for Jewel, who celebrated her first Mother’s Day with husband Ty Murray and son Kase Townes! In honor of the special occasion, the singer posted the following photo and message on her personal Facebook page.

“As a new mom, I’m thrilled to have my first mothers day with my son Kase Townes Murray,” Jewel wrote Sunday. “The greatest gift I can imagine is just the fact that I get to be his mom- its the best thing I have ever done!”

The 37-year-old, who tied the knot with Ty Murray in 2008 after a decade of dating, added, “The wild flowers are all in bloom here in Texas, so my husband has planned a picnic by the lake, with fresh picked flowers.”

A caption for the photo, taken on April 8, reads, “Kase and I all dressed up for Easter. Having a baby is the most fun I’ve ever had!”
