Kate Gosselin, not content to fade into the background, has just been announced as host of a Caribbean cruise this August.
Sounds like paradise, right?

Allure of the Seas, Royal Caribbean’s newest ship.
It’s a family cruise that includes Shrek, Po from “Kung Fu Panda” and other DreamWorks chracters, plus has a Starbucks, the Broadway hit musical “Chicago,” a carousel, aerial acrobats, and more.
Gosselin fans can meet Kate at a welcome cocktail party and each family receives a personalized gift from Gosselin.
Oh. Joy.
She’ll also join in for a morning brunch and private BBQ, plus a shore excursion with Gosselin.

I think the critics need to give her a break. This is a young woman whose marriage fell apart and whose ex-husband is, apparently, not pulling his weight financially. I can’t imagine the costs involved in raising 8 children bu oneself. I believe that she is a nurse, but could certainly not support this many children in that capacity, nor with any other “normal” job. She seems to do what she has to in order to provide for her family and has, thus far, avoided any of the less-than-reputable money making propositions that have surely come her way. I wish her the best.
Hey have an idea….don’t have 8 kids that you can’t afford. She is taking a job where she is on a cruise ship socializing with people. Where are her kids? People that have these selfishly large families, then can’t hold it together, are worthy of contempt, not admiration.
most likely they would be with her or taken care of by a nanny.
I think people that get famous having too many children, and utimately ruin those children’s lives by carrying on like they are single, dragging their personal lives thru the media,deserve our contempt, not our adulation. Selfish, selfish, selfish.
