Katherine Heigl and daughter Adelaide made for a beautiful pair landing at LAX on September 6. What had the mother of two adopted daughter’s beaming? A family reunion!

Carrying the sleeping sweetie in her arms, Katherine Heigl was greeted at the airport by her sister, Meg. The pair have a special connection, as Meg was adopted into the Heigl family, while the actress is mom to baby Adelaide, adopted domestically at birth, and toddler Naleigh, adopted from South Korea at the age of 9 months.

Katherine Heigl told People in June of having an infant at home for the first time, “I had never had a newborn before. I didn’t really have that experience. So it’s all been new.

“I was prepared for the nights and having to get up and all of that. But the beauty of it is it’s really only a few months of your life that you’re walking around like a zombie because you haven’t slept.”
