Kellie Pickler has no plans to get pregnant just yet, telling Us Weekly that she wants to enjoy her husband for now.

Pickler dished backstage after performing on American Idol: “You get married and everyone is trying to make you have babies. We are still in the honeymoon phase and honestly neither one of us really want to share each other with anybody!”

So cute!

Pickler and husband, Kyle Jacobs, have been married for almost 18 months, and besides, Kellie is pretty busy with her career. There’s time.

At 24, Kellie says, “I’m young. I got the rest of my life [to have kids].”

Fellow American Idol alum and country music sensation Carrie Underwood also recently said she wasn’t in a rush to have kids, telling Extra, “I’m good right now. As long as he’s playing [hockey] and I’m doing this, it doesn’t make sense. So no babies.”

Underwood’s husband is busy with his hockey career and Carrie has a lot going on with her career as well, but there seems to be constant pregnancy speculation following the couple.
