Becoming mother to son Luca has melted Hilary Duff into a “mushy ball.” Gushing over her son the singer and actress says not only is she head over heals in love, but she’s now a diaper changing pro!

“I love changing diapers!” Hilary Duff told People over the weekend. “I’m really good at it. I’ve got it down.”

The first-time mother of 11-week-old son Luca Comrie went on to share, “There are so many fantastic things [about motherhood]. Everything’s been really wonderful, and the time’s just been flying by. I want it to slow down.”

Recent advances on the baby front include reaching numerous milestones. The 24-year-old shared of her son, “He’s starting to roll over, so that’s really good and exciting. And he’s been smiling and being a lot more vocal.”

Trying to sum up all the becoming a mom has been like Hilary Duff said recently, “There’s really no words to describe it. It’s the most incredible thing every day. It softens you so much. I feel like a big mushy ball.”
