Patti LaBelle has agreed to write out a big, fat check to the mother of a baby she screamed at nearly two years ago. Losing your cool on a little one will, apparently, cost a celebrity big time!

The 68-year-old singer has reached a settlement with the family who accused her of ”yelling, screaming obscenities, throwing water and drenching with water, attempting to strike and physically injure.”

How much will it cost Patti LaBelle to make amends? $100,000!

A lawyer for the mother of the baby told CNN Wednesday that it “took a bunch of depositions” before the singer “recognized that she was going to have to face the music.”

Discussing details of the case further, he explained:

“LaBelle besieged them with such ferocity, before she doused them with water, that the baby was crying hysterically. LaBelle would not desist… The baby went from crying hysterically to vomiting.”

“[The baby] went from being the most outgoing, saying ‘hi’ to everybody in the lobby of her building, to being clingy and shy.”

“Patti is a nice lady, but she has some anger issues.”

Both the lawyer, whose fees will be added to the settlement amount, and the woman who sued Patti LaBelle will reportedly donate the singer’s money to charity.
