Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and their son Leo were recently photographed catching a flight in Madrid, Spain. The seldom seen son of the famous couple, now 1.5-years-old, was showered with kisses from his mother and father as he was carried inside the airport.

Leo is the first child for Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz, who have sworn to raise their son away from Hollywood and the celebrity lifestyle.

“I cannot talk about my son and for me it’s very hard to be silent. But when I see the recorder I stop myself,” the actress explained of refusing to speak about Leo during interviews. “And it’s weird, because when I go to the park with Leonardo I am always asking the other moms, ‘How many hours are they sleeping? What are they eating?’”

Penelope Cruz went on to tell Myself magazine of her motherhood plan, “I will work less than usual. The family, for me, is more important than everything else. When I realised I was working too much, I decided to slow down.”
