Rachel Zoe has picked up a few new tips and tricks since becoming mom to son Skyler nearly two years ago.
“I think the first thing that happens when you become a mom is you really don’t get that dramatic about things that don’t matter,” Rachel Zoe told People magazine Wednesday.
The 41-year-old, seen here with her 22-month-old tot in Los Angeles on January 11, added she now wears “more black because I tend to get things spilled on me all the time. I need my clothes to be more durable and a little less precious.”
“I usually keep a backup something in the trunk of my car,” the fashion-focused reality star went on to share. “I also think the beauty of being a designer is that I have my collection in my office and I have my collection in my home, so I tend to do a lot of quick changes and carry around baby wipes.”

Isn’t getting spilled on the worst. Black is definitely practical and so are prints. I never remember to do this but I’ve always thought I should throw a shirt in the diaper bag for me in addition to the baby’s back up outfit.
