Suri Cruise and Katie Holmes are in no danger of needing to pinch pennies, thanks to a child support ruling! While the amount Tom Cruise will have to fork out every month tops what some people make in an entire year, it’s not jaw-dropping when compared to his annual intake.

OK! magazine reports Tom Cruise will pay Katie Holmes $400,000 a year in child support for their 6-year-old daughter Suri. Divided by 12, that’s around $33,000 a month!

Tom Cruise, who recently celebrated his 50th birthday, is reportedly worth $250 million, however.

It is reported Katie Holmes could have received much more had their divorce case gone to trial. However, with a tight pre-nuptial agreement in place and the goal of getting things settled as quickly as possible, she has agreed to this arrangement.

Included in the actor’s financial responsibilities for his daughter are tuition at her new Catholic school, extra-curricular costs, medical, dental, insurance and college fees.
