Father’s Day 2012 was especially joyous for Trace Adkins, who recently welcome another grandchild into the family! Sharing the news, as well as paying tribute to his own father, the country singer took to Facebook.

“I celebrated Father’s Day early this year when the eldest of my five daughters gave birth to my newest grandson, Jackson Trace Webber on June 6,” Trace Adkins wrote on his Facebook timeline of his family’s new arrival.

On Sunday he went on to write, “Happy Father’s Day to Pappy! I saw that man go to work when he was so sick that a lesser man would have been in the hospital. Thanks for the lessons that you didn’t know you were teaching.”
