Kile Glover passed away Saturday morning after being taken off of life support, according to news reports.

Doctors had determined previously that the 11-year-old son of Tameka Foster, who was Usher’s stepson during their marriage, would not recover from injuries sustained during a Jet Ski accident on July 8.

Kile and a 15-year-old female friend had been riding on an inner tube towed by a boat, when they were struck by an adult riding a Jet Ski. Both youths were rushed to the hospital following the accident, but while Kile Glover was unable to recover, the girl is said to have only suffered a broken arm and a cut on her head.

Usher and Tameka Foster, pictured here in 2008, are said to have reconciled during Kile Glover’s hospitalization despite having been involved in a heated custody battle over their two sons previously. She tweeted the photo of Kile seen here on Friday.
