Vanessa Lachey treated her Twitter followers to a beautiful bump shot this week, courtesy of husband Nick Lachye’s photography skills! The silhouette shot of the mom-to-be wasn’t the only big news out of the Lachey camp, however, the couple revealed if they’re expecting a boy or a girl!

“It’s a BOY. Nick and I are incredibly excited to share the news that we are expecting a baby boy,” a blooming Vanessa Lachey announced on her website Wednesday. “We can’t wait to meet him soon!!!”

Looks like the couple got their gender wish, despite having received heat for showing a preference previously. “I’m excited either way! But I always wanted a boy first,” Vanessa had Tweeted in March.

Baby boy Lachey is expected to arrive in September!
